This collection is a tribute to the woman who writes her own story as she composes her own life. Each chapter of her existence is recreated like a unique moment. The present moment is made of simple pleasures, which she lives through her own reality.

In the morning, she lounges in bed wearing her lightweight pastel colored Liberty-fabric pajamas. Around her, notebooks, newspapers, and books from the day before are thrown on the crumpled sheets. Behind the curtains, the sun reveals its bright light and illuminates a denim shirt and flared jeans lying on a chair.

In the creative idleness of summer, she gently slips on a striped poplin strap dress. While she strolls barefoot in the garden, a gentle breeze blows through her billowing dress, blowing an air of freedom into her vacation. Later, in the afternoon, she lies on the beach. Her eyes are shielded from the sun by an almost childlike wide-brimmed hat as she wanders in her last novel.

Upon her return home, she walks through the front door past the coat rack where she sees the waterproof parka she likes to wear on her solitary walks.

That evening, at a party by the water's edge, all eyes are on her. An immaculate long white jacket covers her shoulders. Everyone's gaze is directed upon her, just as her gaze is directed upon the world.
